Hello Terry, Not sure what the problem is for you and the few others. What browser are you using? Got a screen shot? Edited below. Still need screen shot if you can. Never mind i went thur the sever logs. Ie 6.0 should be compatable with the site. Go to Tools, Internet options at bottom, securitytab,Need to make sure it's set to medium-high level. Also make sure you have java enabled. If that does not fix this let me know and i will see what else could be wrong. |

Hey! it worked. Good job. I'm an Aussie (former Yank) with a Toyota Hilux 2.4 TD running 9 psi. I use homemade biodiesel and during the summer blend in 33% used vegetable oil into the fuel. I want the WI system to keep the EGTs down a bit and to help keep the engine cleaned out. My brother presently has the system in Washington State and will be shipping it on in a couple of months after he as plalyed around with it on his Merc 300D. I'll be posting in the diesel section. |

Sounds like that Hilux is going to turn a few heads when the throttle is mashed to the floor.

It already does. It still has the 2.4D logo on the side. Twice I've had guys with a 2.8D truck pull up beside me at the signal at the bottom of this one hill. They think that I am going to be going slow up the hill and they get in the other lane to pass me. I let them get a little bit ahead of me, then I shift into third...gone, big time. They are left halfway down the hill as I crest the top. It's a neat light truck that gets 40 mpg (provided I'm not drag racing). There's heaps of them in Australia and parts are everywhere. Its easy to bump the boost on the engines, but I go bush a fair bit and I'm kean on reliability. Its a good truck to own going down the backside of the Peak Oil curve. Besides biodiesel and vegetable oil, I've run used motor oil, Jet A and sometimes diesel in it. Hopefully the WI will help keep it cleaned out. |
