Hello everyone my name is Bob and I am from Pensacola Florida. I have a 1994 Toyoto Supra with a single turbo on it. The car was on a 67mm turbo with a little bit of nitrous and has run a best 1/4 mile of 10.39 and has made over 700rwhp thru and automatic transmission to boot. I am currently in the process of installing a larger turbo charger and I am buying race gas locally and that has been a huge pain so I am considering a meth or alcohol kit but there seems to be a lot of choices out there so I am doing some research and trying to educate myself about the different systems. My main concern is SAFETY of my motor. I have read a lot of horror stories about people hydro locking there motors and blowing them up when the injection system fails and the motor detonates. If you have any experiences or recommendation about what kit might be good for my application please post up. Thanks, Bob |

I think the simple check valve would help you avoid the hydrolock problem, and make it much safer. Is the devil's own the safest on the market, I don't know. Does it have some failsafes, yes. If you could route the problem signal from the controller to a port in your engine management,(i figure a 700-hp supra isn't on stock computer), you can have it drop boost, or fatten the mixture if an error occurs. Something as simple as a signal to an EBC would help prevent problems by dropping boost if the system doesn't work right.

Yes my car is setup with an AEM standalone with integrated wide band monitoring and multiple fail safes set up to never let the car go lean under boost and or the boost and nitrous combined. I am still researching all the kits out there and I will decide on one once I get the new setup installed and tuned for a good AFR and knock on 93 alone. The car should be running sometime Sunday if my new 71gts arrives tomorrow or Saturday. Bob | |
