Hi Guys, I have '69 Dart with a turbo charged intercooled slant six. I have purchased a kit to install and have many questions, but will search existing threads before I ask anything. I have not installed the kit yet. I am just trying to decide where to mount everything for the most effective, trouble free operation. The engine bay is pretty full, and almost every choice involves some compromise of some sort. I hope we get to know each other and that we develope a mutally beneficial relationship here. Thanks in advance for the help I expect to get. Sam |

Thanks! I have already learned a bunch from reading existing stickies, and threads. AFter eading here on this forum, I am thinking this is going to work better than I had hoped when I decided to purchase the kit. The slant six combustion chamber is especially old fashioned technology, and I am thinking the water injection is really going to minimize this problem. There is no squish area, and no swirl, or those kinds of things. The small bore, and long stroke make it especially detonation prone. Hopefull this will allow me to reduce fuel delivery, and add timing thus improving power, and economy. My hope now is that I will end up saying, "Why did I wait so long"?" You obviously put in alot of time into helping people on this forum. Thanks for your interest and sharing. Sam |
