WRX Kit

Hello, I am looking to buy a kit very soon, and need to ask a few questions.
I have a 04 WRX with Cobb AP Stage 2.
I need to know which kit is best for my car, and where people install the nozzle. I was told to drill a hole in the TMIC. Please advise. Thanks

Re: WRX Kit

The progressive kit works great on the WRX if you have the stock MAP sensor it's basically a 2 bar it only reads to 17psi so our to bar controller is very close to the WRX's scale. If your running more that for boost I would hope you have a 3bar map sensor. Or you can use your our voltage faced controller and go off the TPS sensor or MAF sensor. And of course the base kit will also work great if the progressive is not in your budget.

WRX have the nozzle mounted in the TMIC you can mount it in the metal or in between the rubber coupler. A M5 nozzle is what you want for 350hp any more HP than that we would recommend the M7. A 3 bar set up will give you the most controll and tunablilty of your system.

Re: WRX Kit

I ordered my kit yesterday. Chance is sending a 5 & 7 nozzle. I used your calculator and it came up with a 3 for the set up I have.
Will a 5 be okay, or should I get a 3 ?

Re: WRX Kit

Stock WRX normally run a M3 a modded running more than 18psi will want a M5 for sure. STI's use a M5 out the box.
