| I have the standard kit with a 15 gph nozzle on my procharged 05. The car has ONLY the Procharger P1 SC kit (with their 42 lb injectors) and alcohol- no other parts added. I dynoed 474/413 with a the kit as-is from procharger. Then I moved the air filter out of the engine bay, added the alcohol, changed the thermistor in the stock IAT sensor to a faster reacting piece that was recommended by a couple GTO guys and swapped to smaller pulley. With the stock pulley, I was ~6 lbs boost with IAT'sover 140 by the end of a pull and ~15 degrees max timing. Now with the alcohol and cooler IAT's coupled with the faster reacting thermistor- the car runs 18 degrees of timing all the way through redline with IAT's in the mid-90's at the highest so far at WOT and 9-10 psi max boost. I have the kit coming on at 2 psi (no bog!) and it hits like a small nitrous shot now that the IAT's drop so fast and it shoots my timing up. As the car sits now (pulley, alcohol, thermistor, filter relocation) I did 585 wheel horse/ 513 tq last night- three damn near identical runs in a row with no cool down- love the alcohol and then today they wanted to put it up again to show some people and first pull on a cool car was 588/520 backed up by FOUR 584-586 hp/511-513 tq runs BACK TO BACK! The consistency with the alcohol is unreal! I should add that without the alcohol, when I did my 474 whp pull- I did two badk to back- first was 474- second was 450- 34 whp loss due to the heat. Not an issue with the alcohol!Just wanted to let people who may be considering it how well it works!! Thanks to the alcohol, I was able to run more boost and gain a tad over 100 whp with no retune all on pump gas .Joe |
