| I own a 07 Trailblazer SS W/MP11Magnuson Supercharger on it . 6.0 litre LS2. Same engine as what comes in the stock C6 Corvette. Supporting mods are 1 7/8" LT's LS7 Throttlebody Vector LS1 efans High Capacity Resevoir for superchargers intercooler. Fully built RPM Trans w/3000 Precision Stall 10.5" Multi disc I have run about a month ago 11.983@114 in -DA temps outside were in the 30's. A couple days later I ran 12.88@105.xx in +1500'DA Temps outside were in the 60's. I realize there are some slight corrections to the + and - DA's but my heatsoaked engine is certainly a huge problem. Can someone tell me if this methanol injection will work for me safely ? Thanks in advance !

| Yes it will work for that application, Plenty of supercharged vetts running our kits and GT0's. Heat soak it taken out of the picture as soon as the system is activated. You get consistant times and your engine temps stay down as well as the air intake temp and EGTs. Plus you get the benifit of the high octane and no detonation and full timing at all times. A DO12 or DO14 nozzle will be the nozzle size you would need to use. |

| Actually , the heatexchanger on this setup is well known in the roots style blows arena. It is one of the best on the market. When everything is heatsoaked and ECT's are 200+ and the IAT's are 150+ ...if I open the lid to the intercoolers resevior and stick my finger in there , it feels like ice water. Temps are about mid 40's on the intercooler coolant temps after running it hard.

| How does your kit compare with the Snow kits. The reason i am asking is the auto shop that wants to install a kit on my TBSS recommended the Snow kit. They said they have installed many of these and they are very easy to tune and very easy to control ! Quote:

| I actually removed the grill headlights etc today and checked to make sure there were no kinks in the lines running from the pump to the intercooler and up to the intake ...all looked good . The pump is making good flow . When i remove the cap on the intercooler resevoir you can see the pressure is up the flow is very good. You can see and feel the coolant flowing great !

All the other little parts and pieces of a kit are pretty much the same with any vendor. You have to look at the kits piece by piece and ask just what am i paying for. Because in the end they will deliver the same amount of methanol about the same rate at the same pressure at the same activation point. There is also no checkvalve with snow kits. There nozzle is alot longer and bulky in comparison to ours. And there is no hex on the nozzle for secure install and removal or a o-ring to prevent against leaks. Like they say it's up to you. | |
