Hi: I'm building a 6-71 blown 392 Hemi, big Donovan heads, big cam, etc.. Should make somewhere aroung 750 HP at 8 lbs boost. Anyway, was wondering what configuration to use: 1) First running the engine with dual BG 650 carbs 2) Future: May switch over to a FAST XFI with 60 - 80 lb injectors - probably in a retro Hilborn 4-port injector. This is a street rod -- with a 7535 MSD controller. I'll already have a MAP sensor to drive timing retard, etc.. What would you guys recommend? Should alcolhol be injected above the rotors or below. What size nozzles? Any info will help. Thanks a bunch! Dale |

I don't see many 392 hemi around. They are a pretty hard motor to come by. Injecting before will not harm your 6-71 they are intended to have fuel pass thru them. I would recommend going with our progressive kit and running a m10 nozzle on each carb spacer "dual nozzle" . The progressive kits really allow for it to adjust with your boost vers just being off or on as the base setup. |
