The boost bypass valve is about the only thing that will keep the M90 from producing boost. Does he have a aftermarket boost gauge hooked up and hooked up correctly?

Second there are several vac lines that can come loose on the supercharger that can bleed off alot of boost.

M90'S are nothing more than a big air pusher they have to make boost if they are turning and the bypass valve is functioning properly and the coupler in the snout is engaged and turning the rotors.

take some vac hose and put it in your ear, and follow the vaccum lines you will hear the leak.

ok well we didnt find any leak but could it be the supercharger going bad this guy brought it to us as is asked us to work on it. we didnt check the boost from the start but it is now producing 3lbs of boost and we havent done anything different. so we dont know what the problem is i am thinking it is a boost leak that we need ot find but couldit be a really old SC cuz he has almost 200,000 miles on it?

Have you checked the boost bypass valve yet, it the connector is damaged or unplug a vehicle will only make 3psi of boost.
