I didnt know it came from easy performance, lol; something i learned new. anyways when i opened the box i saw my original controller as i last seen it shipped out, which was somewhat odd. i mean it looked like nothing was done to it on the exterior. i laid a velcro piece of tape over the top of the controller-to mount it near my cig tray, and it appears it was never removed to be unscrewed(2 screws on the back of the controller). i understand i wont know whether they'd fix it or not until i install it on my car. The cause of the damage was analyzed, although not tested due to the business being buy, which i undestand, and the controller's voltage regulator was the culprit. the owner was kind enough to do the repair out of warranty this one time, so i would like to thank them. I'll post my results once i install this repaired controller on the vehicle. i just wanted to let you guys know what was going on. wish me luck. thanks fst100 |

so the other day i wired everything up, and saved the power wire last. i used all 4 wires(excluding the gray) with quick disconnects in case anything would happen. wouldnt u know everything worked and function great!! at key "On" the controller blinked yellow twice symbolizing the 2 bar map sensor. thanks again to easy performance for putting/fixing this controller of mine. thus far i've been driving like crazy tuning and testing the controller out. i also have a PLX WB which i am hoping helps me(havent thus far). my WB keeps showing im running very rich(from "rch" to 10.5 with recent scan). i have an AFC that adjusts fuel. i originally had the pump pressure unscrewed just under 50%/middle. on the controller i have the turn on set at 2psi and the MAX at 15psi. the car runs great, but i get some KR near the upper RPMs. if i tighten the pump pressure more will it lower the amount of alcohol and thus my WB would go towards a commanded 11.1 to 11.5 ratio? like said, i was playing around with the pump pressure and gradually loosen/unscrewed it and realize the WB was going lower from 10.6 to 10.3 to "rch". |

also my AFC settings are as follows : 8=95% 9=97% 10=96% 11=95% should i lean my AFC in the 9 and 10 more or just one by 1%? i heard with alcohol a 11.5 to 12.1 is ideal, but im worried since i am already getting slight KR it'll get worse? right now my mods are: ZZP PLog and ported rear PEM AFC 3.3"MPS 8" FWI Cone filter - ported TB 3"DP-2.5" pipe-no U-Bend-No Res Timing Commander alcohol - of course LS1M - scanner 1.95 stock modified rockers edit- scan NannyLog(05.08.2007_20.24.11). from fst100 -- Scan Depot dot net Last edited by fst100; 05-08-2007 at 09:06 PM. right now my AFC set at 8=94%, 9=95%, 10=95%, 11=94% just yesterday i went WOT from a 60+mph roll. my WB showed a 10.7-10.8 A/F ratio but i was getting knock retard towards the shift into 3rd gear. i just bought a M3 nozzle, if im speraying too much alcohol, im trying to get my WB tuned around 11.1 to 11.8 KR-free, but right now i cant?? even if i try leaning it out, i still get KR.....any ideas? |
