Hey guys, just installed the basic kit on my Procharged 05 GTO. I got the M7 nozzle with it and it didn't seem to help much, I went to an M10 and it was a bit better, but still not what I wanted. I have an M14 here but don't want to run into any problems with the instant on and a bigger nozzle (like *maybe* risk a hydro lock if it is possible with this nozzle?). I am running ~7-8 psi and have it comming on around 3 psi. Will the 14 work or should I go bigger/smaller? Thanks. Joe |

We carry a M12 nozzle also, Plus you can't hydrolock the motor with water injetion, You car will bog for a second or 2 if you are spraying to much but that's about it. M7 is way to small for a GTO to start out with. M12 is the size you will want if under 10psi for a GTO. |

Chance told me I want to start out with a small nozzle since it was a non-progressive kit, so I went that route. Maybe he was just in the mindset of the smaller motors. I didn't think you could hydrolock it, but I wanted to be sure .Also, I am using -30 windshield washer fluid mixed with Heet (yellow bottle, of course)- 1 gal washer fluid with 4 12 bottles of heet. Some people said that is an ok methanol mixture, others say not to use washer fluid and use denatured alcohol if I can't get methanol. Any advice here? I remember people using denatured alcohol in the past, but wasn't sure if it was better or worse than the washer fluid/methanol mix. Thanks. Joe |

Your best bet is to go to a speed shop where they sell race gas. Bring a gas can and get 5 gallons of methanol (99.9% pure methanol). Around here its $2.20-2.50 a gallon. Then you can mix it how you like. It's cheaper this way and you'll get better, easier, and more consistant results.

Haha- in this podunk area I live, race fuel hahaha.. Man, you are lucky to find food at 8 psm, forget race fuel. It is driving us nuts and we are probably selling the house and moving next year. "up and coming" my ass- yeah, compared to 50 years ago lol.. Anyway, I'll have to look to see if I can find it anywhere. That's why I mentioned the denatured since it is readily available. Thanks.
