here are some pics of my blower swap a few weeks ago. stock rotors at 130K and i started using the alcohol injection around 90K miles. i honestly cant recall whetehr i did indeed use tb-cleaner or not but the rotor coatings' 85% gone. i have another set of rotors with at at 90% of the coatings intact and well enetually pull the blower off to take a gander whether its off not. i also tried to mount an alcohol nozzle(m2.8gph) in the LIM but the fitting(has o-ring too) from coolingmist keeps leaking even after i applied teflon tape and tightened it as much as i can. how i would know is that i would drive and ensure the controller's pumping alcohol then pull right over and check around the blower and see washer fluid in the areas around the nozzle/fitting >.< i dunno what else it could be. i applied teflon on the nozzle thread that goes into the LIM. what else can i do to ensure no leaks, gasket maker? right now i have the M3(whats imprinted on the nozzle from mcmaster-carr) in the tb spacer ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Stock LIM ![]() again any tips for the LIM fitting/nozzle is greatly appreciated. i dont want to spend more money on getting s/c gaskets than i want to!! ^_^; |

Well first don't use teflon tape, Use teflon paste. If any tap get into the system it will not pass the orfics and you will have a cloged nozzle. With your nozzle location you are only going to get alcohol in 2 right front ports. So its not the best for even distbution. Its not a real good location. I would recomend plugging this location and going back to the tb spacer. I run this in my personal grand prix. I have 70k on the motor and still have good teflon coating. |

hmm ic, i was only trying to be inventive lol. gibson from the clubgp tapped both sides of the LIM but i havent heard anything from his experience of them mounted there. i already have a bung plug in place of the fitting/nozzle in the LIM. i am confident though, there was no tap that would clog the nozzle since it was working for a bit(saw barely any KR) until i noticed i was getting a sudden amount of KR and knew theres a leak that started. right now again im running the M3 nozzle(what actual size is that btw?) in the tb spacer. running the 3.2" pulley, and have the controller set as follows: PSI turn on at 3.5#-4# and Max PSI at ~14.5. is that a decent range? heres a scan i have that i loggegd recently although not 100% throttle applied. Yea, you are running a little rich on the top end. Setting the controller to 14psi when you max boost keeps the water/methanol kit from injecting so much. I think it might help you to adjust our controller lower when you get a little fuel out on the top end. Your lft look good during cruise and idel.

| so should i adjust the MAX PSI to 13.5 since you said lower correct? im tuning both PT and AFC. i cant really lean the AFC as i noticed i get more KR(2-3*), but feel the controler can somewhat quench the blips of KR. i sometimes forget and/or doubt in which direction on the MAX PSI lowers or increases the pump flow.
