Hi Phil, hope you enjoyed the pics of my engine. I'll send the pics of the completed Cobra. Just got to take the engine and gearbox out again to rectify a problem with the Torque Plate. As the Chevy engine and gearbox ( TH400 ) are in a place were they were not designed to be, then I have had to remake the whole dash-board and add extra instruments - mainly for the TH400, which, as it has a Transbrake installed for drag racing, I have had to fit temperature and pressure gauges. As my little love started complaning about her ( passenger ) side, being too noisey and too much aluminium showing, I have had to add some pinky red sound proofing - looks like a 'tarts boudoir' now. On top of me buying her a full race harness too - Women!!!! Just waiting for all the ribbing from my mates and all the other racers. Hope you had a good Christmas and all the best for the New Year. Cheers, Paul Greenhalgh. |

Will be awaiting pics of the finished car! Very nice ride. Never seen a blown SBC in a Cobra!! 9.5 in the 1/4 sounds great! Will surely be a handful on the street. Very nice power to weight ratio. |
