Hello all I purchased my Cobalt ss progressive kit for the Saturn Ion Redline, as its the same car. Install was a breeze, took some time because we were trying to make the install look hidden. I needed this kit, for a before and after run at LACR raceway before it was ripped up. Devils own, told me there was a small delay on my kit, but rest assured it would get to me ontime. That it did! I had enough time to install, and tune my car to get ready for LACR. Thanks again Devils own! For tuning i was able to run 24 degrees of timing thruout my Wide open throttle power band shown here: (stock by the way is 13-15) untitled.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting I see absolutley no knock. Im positive with this kit, i can safely drop 2 pulley sizes down. Im so sure in fact, i have a 2.6 pulley sitting right next to me waiting to be installed! Now on to some results on the track. My best prior to meth injection is a 13.5@101.6 mph, not too shabby from a saturn huh? with the meth kit installed and running as much timing as i did, i run a 13.1@106.6 mph. These cars love meth injection! here are some vids showing the results. Im the Blue car. With a horrible 2.5 60' i find myself playing catch up: mvi_1814.avi videos from friends & fun videos on webshots 06 WRX STI, AWD goes down: mvi_1829.avi videos from friends & fun videos on webshots Crossfire SRT6 gets me, due to a slipping clutch that you hear, beats me by 3 tenths: mvi_1831.avi videos from friends & fun videos on webshots In conclusion thank you Devils own for making an affordable east to install kit, and of course your awesome customer service! Everyone else whos hasnt bought a kit yet....BUY THE DAMN KIT!!!!!!!  |

Nice times, I had no ideal that those cars were pushing those kind of times. A .4 second drop and 5mph more trap speed is a pretty good gain. Get some ET streets or Nittos for the track and you will see 12s which I still can't believe for those cars. I'm going to have to check one out at the dealer, I need a new toy soon.
