i just installed my custom alcohol kit. shurflo pump 8000series w/100psi. ID hose size is 1/4" with boost switch set to turn on at 2.6# and using a m3 nozzle. i still get blips of <1* of KR when i either gradually step into the throttle or nail it fro a roll. aside from the burst of KR due to a possible torque management, i usually get blips of, again <1* of KR. the pressure switch, i know doesnt do anything in increasing the psi flow of the w/w fluid, but just to let you know, its turned clockwise/increased quite a bit. i have both an m4 and m5 with me, should i install the m4 and see how that goes in killing the blips of KR or is that overkill? TIA fst100 PS-should i regap my plugs and see if that helps? if so should i decrease the gap to, for example, 0.045? mods of concern: 3.4"MPS, 3"DP, 180* T-stat, DHP PCM with stock timing, AL104@0.050, Ported Exhaust manifolds. |

also, i have the shurflo pump on its side rather upright, is that ok? its resting where the pcm use to sit. will that affect slow the pump at all?

sorry, i forgot to add that lol. i do have an afc2.2 and an LS1M. there's too many bolt-on mods i did. basically, i completed almost every bolt-on mod available w/o going into the internals, like rockers.

2.6# is kinda low for a hobs setup to come on at. Most people with a progressive kit can get it to turn on that low only because the pump is @ a 15% duty cycle. I would have a hobbs setup "on/off" come on around no lower than 7 psi. I would also try alittle larger nozzle.
