So, supercharged 5.3 gas with all the mods listed in signature. BUT..., The big heavy tires are KILLING HP numbers - 270 RWHP - yuck (although I'm quite happy with the performance in general ) Stock(ish) rims and rubber are an option but I like my current look and the big tires keep me on the road (and get me out of the ditch) going to oil rigs. I figure my next best option is water/meth and possibly a smaller SC pulley. I know nothing about installation and tuning etc. (except that it should be left to the pros). I hear that w/m is best at WOT and not as good cruising around. Are highway speeds considered WOT 'cuz I do a lot of that but also crawl around in the bush a bit. Lots of ups and downs with big hills too. I'm NOT racing or anything so is it advisable or worth the effort to go with w/m injection? What are the upkeep duties? I just want to have it installed and tuned (however that it done), and forget about it. I realize I'll need to fill the reservoir now and then. Essentially I want just some more lead in my pencil turning those big wheels. Whaddaya think?? |
