Default tuning setup

i have a 99 GTP
so i just bought a bunch of fuel related products and was wodnering if i can drop down to sya a 3.0 pulley or 2.9. i bought the Walbro FP and Fuel filter 42.5# injectors, and getting a race ICCU and Mini AFC so the question is what is a good tune to have wiht those two tools and be running a 2.9 pulley????

i believe, and correct me if im wrong, but usually when u hit below a 3.0" you'll need to upgrade your stock size injectors. since u will have a ICCU i recommend u stay with the 3.2" and add timing(u'll need to have your timing table in your PCM unlocked and adjustable first). once u can run the 3.2" and at most 20-21* of timing knock-free then u can drop down to a 3.1/3.0. thats just my $0.02.

well i do have the upgraded 42.5# injectors that is why i want to drop pulley size but when i do that i have to change my mini afc settings and from their to be honest with i dont know what settings to put so yeah but thank for your input atleast i have some type of direction to go through

You can drop to a 3.0 with the 42lbs's that is the key factor in doing so with your mods, I had similar mods on my car and ran a 2.8 for 2 years, with no issues with KR.

To be truely good to go with the 2.8 i would have a ported blower, ported TB at the least. A 4" intake is also a nice thing to have for this .

Oh yes hopefully you don't have flowmasters on your car, Magnaflows work so much better for breathing on the GTP.

cool um i believe i have the magnaflows it is the older loudmouth exhaust system. also what setting should i put the mini afc at when i install the injectors??? and wouldnt i have to shave the snout with a 2.8 or can i go to a 2.8 just nothin lower then that??

Yeah you will have to get the snout turned down for a 2.8 pulley. I did mine with a dremal LOL.
