Just wondering if you could use something like thread locker instead? Or is liquid teflon the only option? Guess I'm trying to ask why liquid teflon? Is it waterproof where other forms of sealant are not? TIA |

Thread lock is water proof and chemical restiant. The only spot that needs it is really the nozzle. Brass to brass fitting that are NPT tend to seal themself water tight because they are tappered. I've never used any on any of the other fittings and they have never leaked. |
