Default Anyone fitted on a VAG 2.5tdi ?

Hi, just wondered if anyone had fitted a kit on the above vehicle. I have a 1998 2.5tdi a4 quattro, and would like to up the power a bit, and like the idea of the water/meth injection.
My plan is to run on B100 bio-diesel, and w/m injection. I will have a constant supply of 99.95% meth.

The 4cly and 6cly turbo diesels tend to all pick up around close to the same power, Anywhere from 20% to 60% at certain rpms, But you can pretty much bet you will not see less than 20% more power, You would use a DO5 nozzle and this would give you a good bump in power plus lower EGT's.

You do have a tight engine bay so trunk mounting the kit would be a good ideal
You can either do a universal stage 2 kit with the 2.5 bar controller or a universal stage 1 kit.

Is this your engine?

My engine is not the "red i". It has 150bhp standard, 300lb torque or there abouts. My thoughts were for a boot install already, more stealth that way.
Any recommendation on a single or twin nozzle, and where to mount them ? If not I can figure it out myself when I get time to have a look at the engine.
Also, is the dawes device a safe enough way of increasing boost ?

Yes, many people use that as a boost controller, I would have to see the engine to give any recommendations on were to mount since it's not one were familiar with. Can't really tell with the engine cover in place.

But if that is like the audi 1.8T there is a spot under the cover of the the tank on the right with the green cap that the pump just slide right in perfect and the cover goes right back on. Making it as stealth as can be. Plus if you still have the cover panels for were the battery is at there plenty of stealth places to hide it there.

Yeah, thats the one. I am going to log some data with vagcom just to make sure we are good before I start modifying. Would you recommend 1 or 2 nozzles ?

The diesels work well with both but if you want faster spool time with your turbo and a bit more power go with a dual nozzle set up. DO2 pre turbo and DO3 just before the intake.

The kit is 330USD and the dual nozzle upgrade is 25USD. You can go to the online store and put the kit in your shopping cart and get the shipping charges. Normally around 40USD to the UK. You should have a MAP sensor, It will be somewere on the intake manifold or if you have a side mount intercooler it will be on the outlet pipe.

You have a 2.5 bar map sensor on a VW or Audi turbo diesel.

This is the kit you will want. If your going to do dual nozzles use the DO2 and DO3, If single nozzles request for the DO4 and DO5 nozzles.

The following have a 2.5 bar sensor to include new 2008 models as well.
# Golf TDI (A4 chassis) w/ ALH engine (1999-2003)
# Golf TDI (A4 chassis) w/ BEW engine (2004-UP)
# Jetta TDI (A4 chassis) w/ ALH engine (1999-2003)
# Jetta TDI (A4 chassis) w/ BEW engine (2004-UP)
# Beetle TDI (A4 chassis) w/ ALH engine (1998-2003)
# Beetle TDI (A4 chassis) w/ BEW engine (2004-UP)

$330 ? The online store says $265. Can you break down the costs per product so I am sure of what i'm buying. Suddenly the cost is much higher that just over $200.
Have your prices increased over the last couple of days ? Can I use ebay ? I see there are no kits on there now ?

Our price has not changed your looking at this kit below
http://www.alcohol-injection.com/wat...tage-1-97.html

This is a boost activated kit and uses a Boost pressure switch. You do not need a Map sensor to use this kit just attach any boost line to the pressure switch. This does come with the dual nozzle kit plus 3 nozzle sizes.

The other kit comes with the Digital Progressive Controller and 2 nozzles and is not dual nozzle.
