I'm thinking of purchasing the basic kit for my Integra GS-R running a Jackson Racing Supercharger @ 8psi. Does it come with an LED indicator to let you know that it's spraying? If not, has anyone connected one in the system. I was just thinking that if I tune aggresively with the injection and it failed to spray, I might cause damage. It would be nice to see a light when it started spraying while boosting.

It does not come with an led, adding one to the kit would be simple just hook up the ground of the led to the wire the pressure switch gives a ground NO and then hook the other pin of the led to a power source.

Thanks for the reply. Another question. The basic kit is setup to use my windshield washer resevoir, right? So I would tap into the bottom of my tank? The pump would have to be mounted higher than that somewhere on the opposite firewall...would that be okay? Do you know if people with Acura/Honda's running Jackson superchargers are spraying into the intake pipe before the throttle body, or tapping into the intake manifold before it goes into the cylinders I think Jackson sells a kit that taps into the intake on top of the charger. Any opinion on what would be best, cooling all the way through the charger, or cooling the boosted air right before it goes into the cylinders? Is the basic kit good enough for me running 8 psi?

The best location would be after the supercharger, That way no cooling is wasted on the blower housing. The kit comes with a fitting for the tank and you can mount the pump pretty much anywere and at any angle since it has a check valve. |
