I need clarification because of a question that came up concerning the yellow LED. On the controller description page, it states:

YELLOW - This is the Status led
On power up the unit will blink the yellow led indicating what BAR setting the unit is setup for.
2 blinks is 2 BAR
2 blinks & 1 fast blink 2.5 bar
3 blinks is 3 BAR or voltage
During operation
It will come on solid in normal operation when the output voltage to pump is at 100%.
It will stay on until output drops below 95%
This prevents the light from fluttering if the boost is hovering around FULL.

It will blink a steady rate when the unit is faulted to let you know if something is wrong.

But in the instructions, it indicates that YELLOW is bad. My understanding is that the YELLOW LED flashes initially during diagnostic check at start up and then will come on steady when the full pump set point is reached. In other words, I set the full pump set point at 15 psi and the YELLOW LED should come on steady as long a boost is 15 psi or more. However, the instructions can be interpreted that the YELLOW LED means a fault has occured.

Please clarify or confirm--Steady YELLOW at the full pump set point is OK.

The full yellow comes on at 95% of the set full point. Now if you have a steady flash then that is a error code.

No. I get either steady yellow or flickering yellow, not flashing or blinking. The flickering occurs as I begin to reach the full trigger point. Thanks.

Oh I see, Well the controller only knows one thing that is voltage, if your full on point is set say at 11psi and that equals X volts and your hitting just under that it will flicker because it's at 95% of that. Might adjust it another psi lower to remove the flickering. Most people adjust there full point on the controller at 3/4 of there max boost.

But the system is functioning like it should
