Default Continued Problems with Controller (SOLVED)

I have continued to have problems getting my controller to work properly. I have tried using it with a 3.5 bar Zeitronix map sensor, as well as the stock SRT-4 2 bar map sensor. No matter what I do, the controller will seem to work momentarily, then it will start flashing the yellow led (due to a fault).

I have noticed that my water line has not ever received pressure because the D.O. gauge with snubber, has always shown zero psi. All wires are soldered together, and the grounds are made to factory ground locations. I am clueless as to what is at the root of this problem.

Have you checked the two connectors on the top of your pump to ensure they have not come loose?

Also open the controller and be sure none of the wires were pulled out of place from the internal terminals during install, They are all held in place with screw down terminals so you can mount it easier if going through a dash ect.

The back of the controller is has the the color code and order.

I have already double checked the controller, and originally the wires were not screwed down completely. I fixed that problem, but the controller still doesn't work properly.

I don't know if this is how it is supposed to work or not... If I set the start pot. to 2psi and the full pot. to 15psi (2 bar setup), the green (pump) LED is very dim, then it turns off and the yellow (full) LED turns on steady. The yellow (full) LED only turns off when I go into low boost or vac. Sometimes the same condition occurs and ends with the yellow (full) LED blinking.

I'll double check the pump wires to make sure they are properly connected; however, I am pretty sure they were still connected properly as the pump successfully primed the lines prior to connecting them to the solenoid.

The best and quickest way to see if it is the controller itself is to disconnect the green from the map, Tap the grey to the green (nozzle hose disconnected) this will cause the pump to run on full and all lights will light up.

Once more thing I can think of did you prime the system before you installed the check valve. If you don't it will never clear the air out of the pumps head and will not spray. Once you have flow from the out side of the pump then it's good to go.

I am fairly certain I have narrowed the problem down to the controller being faulty. I disconnected the green wire from the map and tapped it to the gray 5v wire as you instructed. The only lights that came on brightly were the yellow and the red LED. The green LED was only very dimly lit and would go off after a second. Sometimes the yellow LED would continuously flash after doing the test. During the test, the disconnected water line would not flow any water. (The line was disconnected at a point before the solenoid... so the water line was only connected to the pump.)

To make sure that I had no wiring issues from the pump to the controller, I spliced a new wire into the pumps power wire (at a point near the controller). I took the new wire and tapped it to the positive battery terminal to see if the pump would work right from a direct 12v source. This test was successful, and the pump fully primed the line with water. I re-tested the controller via the 5v gray wire as I previously did with the same failure. Only the red and yellow LEDs would light up.

I believe I need a new controller as this one has never worked for me.

Just checking to see if you guys received my defective controller...

If possible, please let me know how long the wait would be to get the controller fixed.

Thanks!
