How about some suggestions guys.
stage 2 diesel kit, with the map controller.
i havent even run 2 gallons through this setup.
about a month ago, the controller stopped spraying progressively, it would only spray at 100% and it would do it when it wanted to, at idle really wasnt convenient.... or safe for my truck. it didnt matter where the adjustment knobs were set.
talked with chance, he had me mail my controller to his vendor for checkout or repair. it came back friday, with a letter saying there was nothing wrong with it....
so i replace all of the connections on the truck, reinstall and the wife and i went on a few hundred mile roadtrip... it behaved for about 10 minutes... then back to malfunctioning...
the vendor says my map signal must be messed up.
well, no.
i have a digital boost gauge that ties into the map sensor with the controller. the digital gauge perfectly tracks with my analog gauges. i used my multimeter to track the map readings... 0.56vdc at idle and smoothly transitions up to 4.9 vdc at 60psi of boost.... so, its not my map.
any suggestions? all connections are only 2 days old. nice and clean. controller is not mounted near any electronics. the harness doesnt go near any electronics....
i need this thing to work, help please?
