Re: controller + pump pressure

It will never go below 15% duty cycle with the controller which is more than enough to keep it atomizing well. Open hose on our kit puts out about 40psi and 40psi is all that is needed with these nozzles.

I could not tell you pump speed because you would have to hook up a tach to the motor to get rpms.

With a D01 you will not see below 50psi even at 15% duty cycle.

Re: controller + pump pressure

The 150psi pump, The 150 number really does not have anything to do with the pump pressure that's just when the switch cycles. When you have a nozzle in place it changes how these act. You go from 40psi open hose pressure with 1/8ID hose to 230psi with a DO2 nozzle in place.

Don't get hung up on the pump number.

Re: controller + pump pressure

Really can't give a answer to that with just those factors,

It all depends on nozzle size, voltage the pumps getting for your vehicle ect.

Our nozzles are designed to provide greater atomization at lower pressure so high pressures are not really needed. You will not see under 70psi with any nozzle size. If you wanted to know the exact pressure you can hook up a pressure gauge inline with your system.

Re: controller + pump pressure

so i gather from this that at controllers minimum, roughly speaking, 150 pump is 40psi and 220 is 70psi. obviuosly it will vary depending on nozzle size and how much boost its being injected into.
as always i'm open to correction. just trying to get a handle on what these system pump out.
