| Ok so I just installed my methanol kit on the evo. For some reason it doesn’t work. The controller lights light up with the boost but the pump doesn’t work. I took one line off and inside is dry. Do I have to bleed the system for this to work? |

Yes you need to unhook the blue wire from the pump and take the hose from the nozzle assembly as the pump cannot clear air past the check valve. Let the pump run for about 10 seconds until you get a nice steady stream. Reconnect the hose to the nozzle assembly then reconnect the blue wire to the pumps read wire and you should be good. You should always test the pump on any system to make sure it is connected right. Also make sure the arrow is pointed towards the nozzle holder. |

I tried blowing air through the check valve and the air doesn’t go through any side. Is this how its suppose to be?

Did you prime the pump? THis is what needs to done first, which the hose disconnected from the check valve, You can also take the check valve apart to make sure no debri entered it. The checkvalve has a 16psi cracking pressure the pump cannot crack this with air in the line. You must prime the pump first then reconnect the hose to the check valve. Did you apply the 12 volts to the pump with the controllers blue wire disconnect yet? And did you get pump flow to verify everything was hooked up. Secondly did you reconnect the hose to the check valve/nozzle assembly (won't work with the nozzle not connected for it to overcome the check valves pressure. You should get a solid mist after doing this. |

Ok so I did all of this and now I’m having problems with the controller. When I move the boost to start at 8 and full 14 the light goes on like at 5 and full 10 but than I change it to start at 12 full 16 still same thing doesn’t change at all starts to spray at 5 and full 10 what’s up with this. Is the controller broken?

Sounds like it got switch to the 2 bar mode,it should only blink 2 times in 2 bar. Try this to reset it. http://www.alcohol-injection.com/con..._switching.pdf |
