as far as actually mounting the pump, has anyone gotten it INSIDE of the Wizaired box?

I've got the 9" K&N, and my PCM in there also, and I can get the pump to fit. It will take a bit of coaxing to get it to mount solidly, but has anybody else actually put the pump in the airbox? My only concern is that it will partly block the airflow that would come in through the headlight hole.

I'll have to play with it later this week to see if I can figure something else out.

I know how you feel. I'm still running the stock airbox.

No way in hell to mount it without cutting off all air flow.

I'm building a fwi for this but I wouldn't be happy with cutting my $200 wizard intake. Ask dvldoc, there's got to be another way to mount these with stock air box or wizaird or the like systems in place.

I'd like to know myself

There's plenty of other places to mount the pump if you just look around your engine bay. I can't find the pic of it but it is very easy to moun the pump to the outside of the airbox. Measure the hole spaces on the back of the pump, then drill two small holes in your box run the screws from the inside to the holes in the pump and tighten them down.

Thanks Bilal. I just ran out and checked it out, and I definately need to find a way to get it IN the box. I dont want it just hangin out in the open outside of the box. :( I'll play with it later...

I wouldn't mount it inside the box. I just drilled a hole on the outside of my Thrasher (plexiglass box) and mounted it there. Looks awesome. I'll have to get pics up some day when I can get an accessable camera.

FYI guys, I got my pump installed in teh box at the same location as the CAI instructions tell you to do, right behind the headlight. It was a tight fit, but its there...and it sure isnt going to move anywhere.
