Default Got it installed!!! EDIT***Pics of install...

Spent most of the day doing it. I decided to run a hose through the top of the washer bottle so if this is a bad thing I need to know. After several test runs and trying to get bugs out we got it working but my gauge leaked all inside the car so we got that fixed and sprung another leak at the other end of the gauge line and got a yellow flashing light on that run. More time tomorrow but I am excited. Noticable difference running a standard 0* washer fluid. KNock dropped over 3* and iats dropped 10* not bad for first runs. Heres a couple pics i took with my new camera phone sony s710.

I wired the kit up with a switch between the controller and it's power source. I grounded the ground for the controller to the body under the consol. The pump is loop grounded to the front head light ground point meaning cut the wire in half and grounded both and this was done to the brown extension wire not the black wire coming out of the pump. Now when i turn the kit on the red light comes on. If i go WOT it goes instantlt to fault mode. If i go gradual the green light comes on and slowly brightens up as i speed up and the yellow light never comes on. Once i hit 7-8psi which is side#2's selection it goes into fault mode. Any ideas??? Now the only thing i know is that my gauge tap is leaking at trhe TB and need to fix but will that cause a fault?

After reading every post on the 9 pages. I am going to move my power connection to the engine bay in the relay box. I have a feeling the tap on the cigarette lighter is not effective enough.

On some power drops there is not enough voltage supplied to the controller and it sets off the low current sensing. Be sure you have good solid grounds as well.

Never ended up using the power drop. Although the fuse box said it was there and there was a fuse the connector was never found. My friend and i pulled the fuse box, glove box, trim, and went through all the wiring in the general location and nothing just wires no connectors. I am tapped into a constant power from the cigarette lighter which is a small prolly 18-20 gauge so thats got to be my problem. Seems it works fine till it tries to go full pressure which would seem to be affected by not having enough power. I guess another thing would be to set the max boost higher. but i'll try tapping in somewhere else first.

Oh and for anybody that cares for power i tapped into both orange power lines to the cigarette lighters 1 went to the tray and the other to the back. and put a 20 amp lever switch between the taps and the controller. Now i can shut it off when i am programming. Don't want washer fluid filling up the motor or running out the filter. Plus it's all right there no having to tap into relay box in engine compartment and no trying to find the power drop.
