That's all the more input you should need brotha. Unless you have a stack to spend on a descent intercooler (I know I sure as hell dont), then do the alcohol. Trust me... If I had a shitload of money sitting in my bank account and had no other things to spend it on, I would have an IC... just so I could say I have an IC. Other than that, alcohol is my new best friend. From what I understand, alcohol is a bit more difficult to tune, but when you get the tuning ironed out, it seems that there really is no limit as to what you can do. | |

Cost. No need for race gas (a few guys actually run regular unleaded) Cost. Relativly easy install. Impressive upgrade options when new things come out. Tuning is something you'll need to look into with alcohol, but you'd be a retard not to do the same with an IC. I honestly dont see any downside to the alcohol. From my point of view, there is NO great reason to go with an IC over alcohol. I guess you could always boast that you have an IC, and it sure impresses a lot of the local import guys, but tell them you're running alcohol injection and see what thier faces do. ;) I dont even have my alcohol kit yet (will be here this week), and I'm already talking it up. I cant wait. Should take care of all of my KR issues. |

The only effect of spaying washer fluid in your motor is it will clean damm near every bit of carbon out of your upper intake and the rest of the motor. After a year of use my intake looks like brand new. Plus no KR which wears out your motor, lower operating temps at WOT. With the cost of gas these days it's nice to be able to run a 3.4 pulley on a stock GTP with 87 octane and get no KR and full timing. |
