Re: Help - Pump Pressure

You may be able to change the BAR on the controller. I did it to my 2BAR because I wanted to be able to activate at 1 psi.

You most likely have a 2.5 bar controller not a 3 bar, they are not switchable.Give the shop a call.

Have you checked to see if the system is actually spraying? You could have lost a connection with the pump, or have a bad ground.

Re: Help - Pump Pressure

The kit is spraying as im using fluid. The controller i believe is there newer model with red on sticker. Even at 2.5bar it shouldnt be switching kit on as 2.5bar is what around 36psi. Turbo only boosts up to 24psi max which means if kit is set to max at 30psi i should get no yellowlight whilst driving. I have also come accross another issue my redlight does not want to go out. When i switch of engine it goes dim. Both pump and controller are on a switched source along with some led lights which do go off with ignition off.I have put the light on controller down to the pump as if i pull fuse at pump light goes off.

Re: Help - Pump Pressure

The 2.5 bar controller only reads up to around 24.5 psi, not 34psi a 3 bar controller reads up to 30psi.

What do the numbers of your faceplate say? If it's a 3 bar controller and you have a 2.5bar map sensor then the numbers will be wrong. The 2.5 bar has 1 slow flash of the 3rd led 2 fast flashes of the 3rd LED.

UK cars are know to have some electrical gremlins make sure you have a good sized wire to use for the 12v ignition on source, and you check it with a voltmeter.

I would also look into possible soldering of the connections. Check your grounds as well make sure they are directly to the body metal to metal.

Re: Help - Pump Pressure

The numbers on faceplate read start 27psi and max 30 psi. So are you saying my controller has wrong chip in? My controller is the newest version i believe with the orange wire which goes to 12v constant

Re: Help - Pump Pressure

That is a 3 bar controller, its doubtful the bar is programed wrong but very possible your vehicle has a 2.5 bar map sensor which will make it read wrong, They have a different voltage scale. Now if your using a DVC-30 it will have a boost port so the factory map sensor makes little difference.

Re: Help - Pump Pressure

I do have the dvc30 and i am using the boost port along with guage hence i know the controller is not coming on correctly at max point.

How long does it usually take for a controller to be sent from us to uk? I believe one has been sent to bruce
