Re: Help - Pump Pressure

Does the pump sound different at different psi? I have turned screw alot left and i have got it so if i turn it a quarter left pump sounds increases(faster) and if i turn it again left it gets even faster. if i turn it right towards outlet pipe it gets slower turn it again 1/4 even more slower. So is faster 150psi?

i've never adjusted...you should pick up a guage and "t" fitting...its inexpensive stuff at hardware stores.

Re: Help - Pump Pressure

sorry for the late reply, the 150 psi psi pumps can only be adjusted up or down 20psi or so, they have a pressure switch not a internal bypass switch like the 250psi pumps, there is a little trick to get a extra 20 to 30psi out of them, simply remove the pressure switch, open it up with a flat head screw driver, remove the black stopper and place a washer the thickness of a nickle under the spring.

Re: Help - Pump Pressure

With dvc 30 progressive kit should pump red wire be hooked to 12v constant or ignition this is very unclear. Also If My car is running 22psi max how is it my max knob is set to 30psi and i get yellow light come on to say im 95% - 100% near 30PSI when im not?

I have boost port hooked before DO3 nozzle on rubber pipe before inlet. Really annoying me as it should be clear in instructions if pump wire is constant or ignition. Is there a reason why it is ignition? pump doesnt come on unless it needs to on my set up.

My next question along with the above is my controller bad? Considering its less than 6months old and green led has died tonight.

Re: Help - Pump Pressure

Ok hooked up a boost guage today. And i have confirmed controller is bad. Max setting on controller is 30psi but yellow light comes on at 20psi boost guage. Max boost is 24psi with 25psi spikes.
