Help tuning the alcohol for the Paniller-mobile (3.4")

Looks like the Paniller-mobile has gone a step further. What settings should I try out for starters? I have....

3.4"
Loudmouth
Jimmy C DP
Magnaflow cat
Custom FWI
Intense PCM
Plugs and wires
A bottle of Jack

Everything's installed, but no yellow or green lights. Just the red controller light.
Where do i start?

Re: Help tuning the alcohol for the Paniller-mobile (3.4")

I posted a few scan on clubgp, but that was before the case learn. I don't know how accurate it is.

Just got back from doing a scan, I'm getting about 2 kr, peaks of about 5.

You think it's time to sneak a 3.3" in there?

My alcohol kit right now is not firing up. The red light turns on, but the pump and full light never go on. The red light stays on, and is steady.

Well you have power, are you sure your connection to the MAP sensor is secure?

do you have any KR now?

You need to make sure your map sensor is putting out voltage to the controller. Us a voltmeter and check the green wire on the controller harness. Just touch the positive from the voltmeter there and the black ground to the controller harnesses ground. It should be reading around 1 volt. If not you don't have it hooked to the MAP sensor correctly or have a bad map sensor. You should have tapped the center green wire on the MAP sensor. (soldering is best)

Anouther quick check if you do have voltage take blue wire from the controller and touch it to a positve the green light will come on. If not you do not have your system wired correctly.

a) yes, I'm still getting Kr, typical: 2, high: 5

b) I'll check the MAP sensor, how does the voltage work on it? What's the voltage range of the sensor

c) Also, how do I adjust the pump? I don't see an adjustment screw, just a hole that looks like there was one in there...

Did you get this kit used from someone by any chance? sounds like the screw was turned counter clockwise until the adjustment screw came out.

Here's a 2 bar voltage scale.

The only thing you need to reall look for is aroudn 1.2 volts with the ignition key on the on position.

Yeah, got it used, but it was never installed. I'll figure it out. I took tonight off, too many nights in the garage, decided to do some poker.....obviously I'm here, so I didn't do too well. crap damnit

Thanks for the chart, I appreciate it.

Re: Help tuning the alcohol for the Paniller-mobile (3.4")

ok, it's up and running. The ground had a bad connection, as did the pump positive. Both were due to the crappy pinch on / tap in connectors. They weren't cutting through the wire casing.

So, now how do I know the pump pressure? The adjustment screw is missing and I can only adjust using a very small hex key.

Other than that, it seems to turn on around 3500 rpm, at full steam the whole time. Have the first knob only up a hair, and the right knob at 1/2.

Where do I go from here?

You really need that screw, I'm not sure what size it is but I do know Ace hardware has them in the bolts section.

If the screw is out then the pressure can be lower than the factory pre-set of 60psi.
