I was thinking of how I could run the pump to test the injection outside of my car, without risking burning up the ecu... If you unplug the ecu, cut a small piece of wire, and bridge the red and blue wires... If you have a relay on the red wire, make sure you key is on the ignition.. This will spray the pump at 11-12 volts depending.. and 13 if your car is on... Its a good way to check for leaks... etc. I found 2 doing this.. Also I jsut ran the pump for the first time, and sprayed into a empty bottle... the water was brownish at first... I think the pump needs to be run for a min, the first time you get it to clean the seals or something. |
