I'm looking into running an intake manifold of this style when I install my devilsown kit.... I'm installing the nozzle at the throttle body. The problem is, where it enters, I'm concerned about equal distribution. Mostly the rear two cylinders.... Is the air just moving so fast, and the injection so dense that it wont matter ?? ![]() |

Put the nozzle further away from the TB so you can completely vaporize the Meth before it even hits the TB. If you want worse results, do direct port injection. |

I ordered an m1 for preturbo, and an m7 for throttle body. I've decided to go direct port. I already have the pump, controller etc....If someone from devilsown could get back to me it would be great. I'm going to just refuse the ups pkg when it gets here so the nozzles go back unopened. And I'm going to order 4 M2 Outside mount nozzles. I already have the holders, and distribution block from an older project. I was going to order a bunch of -4 to 1/8 adapters, and braided line the whole setup. New intake manifold isnt installed, so I can still drill and tap the runners.... Any reason I shouldnt go direct port and go back to the throttle body ? | |

Direct port can't vaporize as much heat as shooting it further away in the up pipe can. With the nozzle being so close to the cylinder it doesn't have as much time so you have to hit it with much less. With shooting it in the up pipe you can actually overkill it with a big nozzle ( straight Meth ) and just pull out fuel vs having it puddle in the cylinder if you overkill in direct port. Why didn't you put it further away from the TB and just be done? You're adding a ton of work and hassle for no reason. |

The new intake manifold will hang off the right side of the motor, and the new charge pipe will go out the front of the manifold with a silicone 90, straight down into the intercooler |

If you air is bad, then your meth will be bad too. IF your injectors all fire the same, it will mean that the one farthest is rich anyway, so you don't really need more meth to it anyway.
