I have a 2003 Evo 8 and Im interested in buying the progressive controlled alcohol kit. I have a couple questions though, will the controller work with my car? I dont know if my map sensor works for reading boost, cause I know when people get an AEM EMS standalone they buy a different map sensor for it. Has anyone successfully tried this out on an Evo yet? Also, how do I know what size nozzle I would need? My car currently makes about 385 whp on race gas, so I figure thats what it would be on pump with the alcohol. I also plan on modding further so I would need a nozzle that will allow for more power in the future. Oh and one more thing, I want to use my stock washer fluid bottle to be the reservoir for the alc. injection, can i tap for the injection system while still retaining the use of my washer fluid for the windshield? Is windsheild washer fluid ok to use with your kit? Sorry for all the questions but I want to make the right choice when buying a kit for my car and the $500 kits made for the evo currently are just awfully overpriced. Thanks

Glad you stopped by, Yes that $500 kit on the evo forum is insane. No kit is worth $500 Period. Our kit is designed to tap the stock washer fluid bottle. http://www.alcohol-injection.com/evo...-kit-p-66.html Most of the EVO guys are going with the U-TECH and a 3 bar GM map senosr which our controller will work perfectly on. Even if you have a 3.5 bar MAP sensor it will only be off by a few psi on the dial. But if it's a 3 bar it will be nuts on within .01 psi. You would use a dual nozzle set up on your car M5 and a M3 nozzle on your set up. Since our pump goes past 200psi with our controller you'll have plenty of room to exspand. shoot me a email at dvldoc28@gmail.com And I might be able to hook you up on the price just to get anouther EVO kit out. You guys have been slow on the alcohol, SRT-4's already know the deal. |
