Default leaking pump at threading

Hi, I was told not to thread the nozzle on the pump all the way because it might crack. But I still have a leak. I was wondering if it was ok to screw it all the way in. Will it crack the pump on the black portion of the pump.

thank you

Try turning it another 1/2 to 1 turns.

Usually you should only turn them 2 turns or so from finger tight when first installing.

Hi, I've turned it a few times and it is still leaking. Should I try teflon tape?

Sounds like you may have cross threaded the threads, Try pulling it out and putting some teflon paste on the threads and re tighten them.

There should be just two threads showing on the pump fittings and they will be fully seated and tight.
