no it was definitly wired corectly because well first of all, the wiring is quite simple. second, it was working fine untill one day it just wouldnt spray any more. its running completely stand alone, with its own seperate map sensor since my ecm doesnt support boost, so i gave the kit its own separate 2 bar runing off of the grey wire. i gota send off the controller tomaro, never got around to it today. sorry for al the trouble, i really hope it didnt short out my new map sensor, i just put it on for a second to see if the map sensor was the problem and it didnt work so i cut the wires and took the controler out to send it back but im thinking the controller just shorted it out like it probably did to the last one... i really hope not, at 70$ per map sensor i really cant afford this. Why do you think the MAP sensor is shorted? Do this test. Run a wire to your MAP signal wire long enough to reach inside the cab. This will be temporary, so don't worry about the firewall, etc.; just run it through the passenger window. Next get someone to drive (safely) while you use a volt meter to measure the signal voltage from the MAP while under boost. Touch the red lead to the signal wire and the black lead to the vehicle chassis--make sure you have a good ground, like to bare metal. Have the driver accelerate the vehicle under a load so you build boost. If you get no voltage, then the MAP is malfunctioning. If you get a voltage reading, then you know it's the controller for sure.

ill do that, and i see what your saying but what im saying is im 100% sure the controller is bad but a bad controller would be instantly trashing my map sensors along with it wouldnt it? thats what i was thinking...

I really don't know. I don't know what would damage a MAP sensor. But, if you can prove the MAP sensor is working, then you need you need to test other components. Does the pump run if you connect the red wire to a 12V battery and the black to chassis? If so, then you need to make sure that there's not a break in the wiring. The volt meter should also measure ohms: 0 ohms means the wiring is ok (from the controller to the MAP and from the controller to the pump). If it shows infinity ohms or "OL" then you have a break in the wiring and need to find and fix it. Your basic components are the controller, the pump, the MAP, and the wiring. By elimination you can conclude what the cause most likely is.

i hooked the pump to the batery just to see if it works and it does. all my wiring is ok, nothin hacked up or anything, good grounds, i get a crazy high reading off of the grey wire coming off the controller like 1.22 volts and i think that right there is the problem, damaged controller.

I thought the gray wire was supposed to be 5 V. I agree, something does not seem right.

The wires should be arranged on the controller just like the photo below. | |

o, see i thought it was .5 volts so thats why i though it was high... so either way the controller is damaged, its not sending 5 volts off of the grey. the grey as well as the green send off about the same voltage... so thats not right.

im reading exactly .35 volts off of the grey wire. im outside with my laptop right now and i just hav ethe controler wired directly to a 12v batery and the grey wire puts out .35 volts and the green and blue put out nothing which is normal but does this mean for sure my controler is damaged?
