My tank reservoir for my meth/water mixture is made out of full aluminum and in the engine bay. The tank soaks up a lot of heat and the methanol mixture is also very hot to the touch. Would there be any benefits if I could get the liquid to be colder or even very cold?

Ice? If you want cool, you will probably have to move the res, heat wrap what is around it, or change back to plastic.

| Since the res canister is all aluminum I was thinking about using a few low wattage peltiers to cool the canister, and in process, the liquid, but I am wondering if it is worth the trouble?

Does anyone know how big of a heat sink is necessary to cool a 45W or any other watt peltier? ...is it worth the trouble? Last edited by Kerry; 09-18-2008 at 02:36 AM. | |
