My kit did not come with the black 90 degree holder, it came with an instant fitting that the nozzle can screw into, kinda like the one pictured. Is this the correct one to use? It does sit quite high on the intake compared to the black 90 degree one.

We have some new fittings, The 90 you have pictured is not it though, We change the design a bit and made it were you can swivel the direction of the hose. The check valves will all be tube to tube ends on those kits. |

Yes it is like the one on the right but has an extended female end to screw the nozzle into. So it's just an updated version with a quick connector and is plastic not brass.
