Question, I was wondering if the angle of the nozzle placement would harm the performance or flow of the nozzle? What I mean by this is basically I want to possibly mount the nozzle at the six o'clock angle or on the bottom of the ic up-pipe so you can't really see it unless you crawl up in there and poke around ![]() My truck see's alot of action on the street and the less this mod stands out the better for me. So would basically mounting the nozzle upside down having it spray up wards hamper it's performances in anyway? Also what about placement from throttlebody.. how close can you go without taking away from it's cooling ability? Here's a pic if my the up-pipe im using off my front mount so you can get an idea of what im talking about here. ![]() Thanks Ryan

It does not matter which way it is orentated. It will function fine. If i was you i would put the nozzle in the piping right after your compresser outlet. Anywhere thats easly accessable is the most important thing. |

wont this cause water to get caught in the intercooler ?

For maximum cooling effect, I would think you'd want it after the intercooler. Let the intercooler do its job and then add the water/meth. The Intercooler will get things fairly close to ambient (if its fairly effecient) and then the meth part of the mixture can actually get the temps to dip below ambient in some setups. This won't happen if you install it after the turbo but before the intercooler.

I think he is talking about mounting the nozzle right at the exit of the IC pipe. Which is a perfectly fine location. I would mount it right behind the intake pipe next to the Turbo on the back side if i wanted it unseen. |

When I do actually get around to doing this and it's not sub zero outside I'll be mounting the nozzle on the underside of the up pipe right where it goes over the valve cover which would me it's after the intercooler and inches away from the throttle body.
