I'm considering meth and am fabbing up my intercooler piping now. Can I get some recommendations on where to place the nozzle /nozzles? The motor is an inline 6 cyl. 3 liter turbo running into the 20psi range with the methanol. My questions: The intake piping makes a 90 degree turn into the throttle body. Where is the ideal nozzle placement? Do I need multiple nozzles? What size bung would I use? I have 1/8 NPT but I'm thinking these nozzles may be 1/16NPT? Where is the ideal place to put the air intake temp sensor? I am thinking inside the intake manifold and slightly away from the throttle body so it doesn't get hit with water? ![]() ![]() |

You can put the nozzle anywhere between your ic outlet and your tb. Same with your Iat sensor they are pretty tolerant of meth. You going to want a 1/8npt bung. You going to want to use a thin one. Our nozzles only have a little over 1/4" reach. So if your bung is thicker you can get 1/16 by running a die down our nozzle. That looks like a nice little setup you got going. |
