Hey guys, I hope you can help point me in the right direction. Let me start by saying that I do not have a Devils Own kit.. I never heard of Devils Own when I aqquired a Snow Performance kit from a friend. I tried to join the forum over at Snow Performance but it gives an error on the webpage when you try to sign up. I tried sending an email to the admin there but it bounced. So... anyway.. I have a VW R32 which is a normally aspirated 3.2L 6 cylinder. I have intake/cams/chip/exhaust and have dynoed at 252whp (AWD dyno). I have a 'race' file that I can run on my ECU but it it requires a minimum of 103 octane. So I bought a water/meth injection kit to run on lower octane gas. The instruction book for the snow kit says to use a 175ml nozzle for 250whp-350whp (pump is 150psi surflow). In talking to a few people I was advised to run a smaller nozzle than that since I have no turbo or supercharger. I read that water injection should not be ran on an engine under 3500rpm.. but if I am using this on the race ecu programming, I'll want protection lower than that... Any ideas / suggestions? Thanks- Josh |
