Question one nozzle or two...

Does it make a difference if I go with one nozzle or two?
Need 14GPh, so should I get one 14 or two 7s (or even three 5s or four 4s)...

Re: one nozzle or two...

If your just running 14gph it's actually a bit more with the pump pressue since that rating is just for 100psi. There would be no reason to run 2 unless it was a turbo set up and you wanted to run a pre-turbo nozzle.

Re: one nozzle or two...

I run with a twin turbo setup...

Is there a write-up on the advantages/disadvantages of a pre turbo setup vs locating elsewhere?

Thanks for the help!

DevilsOwn Injection - Articles - Tech Articles - Where to locate your alcohol-water injection nozzle.

We have alot of people that run the pre-turbo injection the only size we recommend is the 1gph or 2gph nozzle unless you have some ungodly huge turbo which some do but not many. But for the normal vehicle 1gph to 2gph is what you'll run, pretty much no turbo lag after you do this mod and you'll spool up quicker as well as much lower outlet temps.

Re: one nozzle or two...

Thanks, I knew I saw that article somewhere...

(I have EvoIII 16G turbos, so not really huge) I like the idea of faster spool and cooler EGT... So this makes things a little more complicated for me... given the pre turbo equation, I am adding a small amount of meth/water to cool EGT and speed spool... originally I was going to add a larger amount to cool charge and delay knock. Will the smaller amount pre turbo still do that?

couple more questions:

So you would recommend outside mount 2GPH misters mounted close to the compressor?

Also, do I supplement that with larger injectors post intercooler for higher boost applications and knock control?

Given that scenario, would I want to use a Progressive Controller or a straight boost controlled on/off switch?

Fascinating possibilities!!!
