Default Power drop pic

Hers a pic of the powewr drop through the glove box opening. I found it much easier to take out the 5 screws holding in the glove box than to go from under the dash.

I am nearly finished, and this is the only thing I have a concern about. The power drop talks about Black, yellow, and pink... yet I see black, brown, and orange (just like in the pic above).

I see he has his black to black, and red to brown. It also seems like he tried the orange, and must've not had power to the controller, so he snipped it. I'm guessing some cars must be different, hence Bilal and slopoke talking about other colors, or I'm just finding out I'm colorblind after 21 years of not knowing? J/K but some suggestions would help... for now, I'll try it the way it's shown in the pic, since I'm guessing his works.

The easiest way to verifiy what wire is what is use a test light. But the orange should be remote on.

Good call... I'm about to go out and do that. Otherwise, the kit is coming together, I'm just taking my time and doing it right (I hope). Slopkoe's detailed pics were very helpful, but if anyone wants to add their own suggestions or modifications, feel free. I'm going to look over his notes, and make suggestions to his nice write-up, to bring it closer to perfect.
