Default Power loss - troubleshooting

Well I typed up a long post but lost my connection and well, long story short, lost everything I typed.

Short and sweet:

1) At what psi are your nozzles rated? I am using a 3gph nozzle but I think I may be injecting too much. If the nozzle is rated at 50psi and the pump is running at 100psi, then the little 3gph nozzle is injecting 6gph.

2) When the pumps are shipped out to the customer, what psi are they set at?

3) If I were to turn the pump adjustment knob all the way down, what psi will the pump run at?

This sticky might help ya... http://www.alcohol-injection.com/for...works-214.html

and here's a quote from another thread... Pretty sure it was from one of the tech's here...??

BTW I have the same kit and car.... I ordered the 2-3-5 nozzles...
Try a smaller nozzle...

You can turn that 7 times you won't see more than a 15psi change, The nozzle size is the main factor in the pump pressure. So if you are running a M3 you will not be able to reduce it less than 200psi. The pressure switch really does little to effect the pump pressure. The only real way to reduce pressure is to PWM control the pump like our controller or reduce the voltage going to the pump. Most vehicles put out about 13.8v while running you can reduce that down to 12v and that will knock off much more pressure than turning the screw.

Or just get a smaller nozzle
