Hey folks, I am thinking about ordering the pressure regulator you have on sale (the price is great!) But I am having two issues the pressure regulator says in the description it need a 1/4 female fitting... The female fitting listed on the ittings area only come in 1/8 and 3/8's... Help there, is this why the regulator is on sale, you have no fittings to work with it? Finally is the regulator really required, the pump has ome adjustment and using difering size nozzles allows fairly good flow control... Explain why I would ned the pressure regulator... I really want to know I am not beig hard to get along with.... Help Mike |

We should get that re-worded it is 1/8 npt fitting for 1/4 OD hose. You can put pretty much anything on the end to match up with what you need. The pressure switch is not a regulator it has nothing to do with the pump, It only controls what level of boost your pump will activate. The pump pressure is based on nozzle size, the smaller the nozzle the higher the pressure. The pressure switch on top of the pump will only take or add around 15psi of pressure we recommend you just leave it set were it is. The Progressive Controller is the only thing that can make big changes to pump output pressure through pulse width modulation. |
