I hooked up the Progressive Controller and it works on my 2003 Z06 It is wired into an ignition source. When I upload a calibration file to the car's pcm using hp tuners, the pump comes on full tilt during the programming. Also, even if I remove the ground wire to the prog cont. it still continues to work. So I am now looking for a power source that is only live when the car is running unless I find another solution. Any suggestions? |

If the key is on, then while I am programing the pcm, the map signal voltage must change just enough that theprogressive controller causes the pump to shoot full tilt. I have a switch in line at the moment.

At times, it dumps a little meth and at others it unloads bigtime I pulled over to the side of the road when tuning the car and when hp wrote the calibration, it emptied the entire w/w reservoir into the intake. took me bout 30 minutes to get the car started..thought i as going to blow up... ![]() Not sure, but mostly it will not do it if I turn the start knob up a tad Anyho, a simple switch is my short term cure, but if I forget to turn it on, then maybe KABOOM.... ![]() If I turn the start knob up, it mostly doesn't happen, but sometimes it does...I am using the latest version of hp tuners. and running 2 bar sd os Last edited by RJW; 05-30-2007 at 02:19 PM.

It sounds like the programmer is making your map sensor go to 5volts when it's running which will run the pump with the controller on. Have you checked the voltage going to the controller when your running the software, You can do this with the nozzle holder disconnected so you don't run the pump with the car not on.
