Default progressive controller

I want to know if I can use an other controller with the devil'sown WI kit?

the reason is that my car will run with a 3" GM mas, and not a map sensor. And the Progressive Controller could run only with map 2 bar or map 3 bar.!!

I'm right??

Yes, gm MAFF sensors are freq based and our controller can not be hooked up to them. With ours you would have to install a map sensor if you don't have one. Snow makes a controller thats takes the freq and converts it to voltage for there controller. We don't plan to offer a gm MAFF compatable controller. We feel users should use a map sensor.

Our controller works on any 0-5 volt source.

a dedicated MAP sensor only takes up about 2 cubic inches in your engine bay, not hard to install so no reason why it can't be done.

yeah, but for me to run a map sensor on a freq. car, I have to buy a AEM EMS stand alone it's about 2000$.

the controller supplies the needed 5 volts to run the MAP, kinda confused since it has everything you need to run in and of itself, you just need to purchase the MAP sensor additionally.

No, You don't need an ems to power a map, You take the map sensor with the pig tail. http://www.alcohol-injection.com/3-b...nsor-p-21.html 75 dollars

There is 3 wires on the map sensor. Hook the grey wire of the map to the grey of the controller, Hook the green wire to the green wire and hook the vacccum/boost line up to the pressure port. Its pretty easy.

I use the Snow Boost controller with low setting at 4 and max at 10 lbs of boost and it works great with the Devils Own kit. I got these settings from others who stated that they used the Snow MAF controller and switched to the boost controller and liked the boost controller better.
