| Looks like I'll be going with a progressive system.
I want to be sure I've got everything needed when I place my order. Am I missing anything needed for my install? Thanks, Jay |

| Great, so the check valve obviously has a spring and check ball which the pump overcomes, but gravity and vacuum will not overcome. Thanks for the tip on the direct port -vs- single nozzle for my application. I can't wait to place the order this week. ![]() Jay |

| DevilsOwn Staff Year: 2000 Make: Pontiac Model: Grand Prix | All the kits have the pic of the 2 bar controller with them :( On the list of things for me to fix. It comes with a 2.5 bar controller to match you stock 2.5 bar map sensor. We can get you a 3 bar if your going to be upgrading to it. I know its starting to be more popular thing to do with sti. yes, nozzles are bought seperatly. I would got with 1gph nozzles for you application. Thats fine, if you want to upgrade to the solnoid. Our check vavle should work fine for you though. If you do wire up a realy to the progressive kit. Then it need to be between the controller and the power. Don't put it between the controller and the pump. |

| Thanks for the response. I placed an order on Tuesday March 18th (two days ago) and I ordered a 2.0 bar MAP sensor to correspond with the outdated info. Is there any way to change my order to a 3 bar MAP and 3 bar controller? Based on the fact that I thought this was a 2.0/3.0 bar controller, I thought there would be room to simply purchase a 3.0 bar MAP in the future when increasing boost. As i understand it, the 2.5 bar controller is not programmable to switch between 2.5 BAR and 3.0 BAR. Based on this info, I would really like to get this straightened out before the order ships. I'm going to send you a PM. Thanks, Jay |

| OK, I got the order all straightened out. I am going with the 3 bar controller and 3 bar MAP. I decided to go with the single nozzle and to ditch the solenoid valve in hopes that the check valve will do the trick. I saw this post: http://www.alcohol-injection.com/for...iring-983.html I was also led astray by the wording on the float switch page, and I will NOT be using the float switch to disable the pump when the fluid level gets low. That's the last thing I would ever want to do. (Lets be honest, I'll would choose to run the Sureflow pump bone dry and replace it as opposed to ruining mt motor and having to replace the motor!) Since I'm having my engine builder install the progressive system, I decided to re-work the wiring diagram from the install instructions for him to eliminate any confusion. Thought I would post a pic of the re-worked diagram. Let me know if you see any problem areas. http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...g?t=1206191831 Jay |
