If this cause air to flow back to the pump with a pressured system yes it could cause a leak if the pump was not primed , no fluid in the lines ect. Other than that it should not cause a boost leak do to the pump having a revere flow check valve but if the system was dry when you did the boost test it's possible for the air to travel up the nozzle and though the check valve if no fluid is present. Because the systems do not leak under boost when primed. I would try priming the pump and do the leak test again. |
