i have a small block chevy i have been running a methanol carb on top of my weiand 177 c.i supercharger but i want to switch to gasoline i am making 7-8 p.s.i of boost with a 10.75 to 1 static compression ratio motor on alcohol makes about 800 ponies. i am currently driving it on 110 octane cam 2 racing fuel but i would like to run 5 gallons of 110 and 5 gallons of 93 or possibly straight 93 if possible without detonation. my questions are as follows. 1. would it be possible to run 93 octane with 7 p.s.i of boost with 100% meth injection? 2. i have a 1 inch spacer between the blower and carb could i drill it and mount your nozzle or nozzles in it??? 3. this would only be used at the track when i race it,would i have to run a progressive kit or just the one with the boost switch??? 4. what size nozzle or nozzles would i need and how long would a 2 qt bottle last the car runs mid 9's so it would only be running for 9 seconds at a time? thank you in advance......Mike |

You would be running a M14 nozzle for that set up, Depending on how much timing you are running it should be enough to run 93 octane. Progressive gives you alot more control over the system. We have many people running set up's just like that. But with your compression ration you might want to go with a dual nozzle set up because you might require a bit more methanol. A 2 quart tank would only last you about 4 or 5 passes with that kind of flow.

Yea, you can mount the nozzles in the plate, Just drill 11/32 and run a 1/8npt tap thru it. Same size you would for nitrous.. Then just thread the nozzles in and your golden. I would personal run a dual nozzle setup and run 2 m10. I would run them front and back vers one on each side because you might hit the linkage. |
