From what I understand, the Progressive Controller has a "fault" mode that cuts power to the 12v out (to pump) if it senses a problem (open circuit, bad pump, etc.). Do I understand that correctly? What (if anything) happens to the controller's 5v output (for e.g., MAP sensor) when the controller goes into fault mode?

If the controller does not sence a imput for the map it will hunt for a signal by activating on and off. IE it will spray for a second. Always check for the system check when you turn on the car. The 3rd LED blinking.

I think one of us misunderstands the other. What I want to know is, if the controller goes into fault mode due to sensing something wrong in the pump wiring (or a break in the pump circuit, or whatever), is there any change in the 5v power output (e.g., to the MAP)?
